I am a consultant who helps people and companies re-align with their vision. When companies go through traumatic experiences, such as deep recessions, they can get caught up in the daily challenges and lose sight of their goals. These goals can include: client satisfaction, life-giving environments and employee fulfillment. My job is to come in and work with everyone to help get joy and excitement back into their work place, which always leads to an improved bottom line. (I also work with individuals in their homes.)

I believe that life is short and often hard, so the best focus is to bring as much joy into each day as possible.
I would love to come onto your show and discuss various ways for your listeners to inspire Change Through Joy! in their lives and businesses.

I had been a school teacher. At 35, I reinvented myself going back to school and entering the computer field. Soon after age 50, I reinvented myself again - this time to follow my life long passion. My passion was to give of myself and help others full time and in my new profession, Senior Move Management, I do just that. From helping seniors relocate without stress, handling all the details for them from beginning to end, to donating left over can goods and toiletries to the homeless shelter, to collecting shower chairs, wheelchairs, eye glasses, hearing aids, walkers, canes, incontinent supplies and unused medicines and distributing them to the needy to helping indigent people furnish their homes from furniture donations from my clients, I and my staff make a difference every day.

There was the family with 10 children who never had new shoes. They were merely passed down from one to the other. I connected them to the non-profit Shoes for the Soul and every year before they started school, they had a new pair of shoes. They also were all watching ONE television. I was able to get two more donated to their family. I find a need and I put together a solution.

Their was the homeless family of 4 living in their car. One of the charities I work with, found them government housing and we furnished their whole place with discarded items from my moving seniors.

You have several shows that would be appropriate for me to speak.
..Changing Careers
..Living Your Passion
..Finding Your Passion

Would love to speak with you.

I am high School teacher and boys varsity basketbal coch at Greece Athena H.S. in Rochester, New York. Four years ago I was part of an amazing story that profoundy touched the heartsof people all over the world. I had a team manager who has autism. I gave him a gift for his loyalty to our program by putting him in our final home game. Jason (J-Mac) McElwain shocked the world by scoring 20 points including 6 three pointers in the last 4 minutes of the game. His accomplishment won an ESPY for greatest sports moment of the year. I have developed a speech called Dreams Really do Come True" that I have been sharing with audiences all over the country. I am also finishing a life lessons book about that magical year. In the book and my speeches I talk about Passion, Mission, Goal Setting, Perseverence, Carpe Diem, and being a Team Player. I would be glad to be a guest on one of your shows. Thank you for your consideration. My contact info is 585-764-0220

Hi there - I would like to participate in your Changing Careers show - in fact I am being honored by my chapter of the NJ Assoc. of Women Business Owners for my ability to reinvent myself in the face of a down economy and have a history of career reinvention (all good!).
I am on the LinkedIn Eds & Writers group ... I have relaunched my original career as a copywriter which has expanded greatly since I started 30 yrs ago!
Phone: 201-791-4694. I'm in New Jersey.

I have been an advertising copywriter, a professional cook, a restaurant manager and operations supervisor, a professional organizer, a gift basket designer and ... a copywriter in advertising, public relations and marketing, now with a broader role in terms of overall marketing consulting as well.

I shared your link with a client & friend who would be an ideal guest for your Passion shows, hope you hear from her (Donna Fullerton, Food for the Soul).

Greetings,

I would be very interested in lending a helping hand to your program. Below are my feelings as to which chapters from my book would best fit your program. As the host of your show I would be happy to forward you the PDF of the book so you can determine for yourself what works best.

Chapter 1 - Making it Happen - would have been a good discussion for your show on the 1st. (When you cover that area again)
Chapter 15 - Action and Thinking - is an excellent chapter for your program on the 8th
Chapters 1,2,3,4,7,16 - Could be a great fit for your program on the 29th of June

I am available for the June 24th discussion on Traveling. We can structure the discussion to meet your audience demographics. We work with parents who are traveling with their children or grandparents who would like to know tips and strategies for traveling with children as well as assisting people with making their dream vacations come true. We are not a travel agent and do not represent any organizations or hotel chains. We provide insight to people on how to arrange exciting trips that are geared to their specific wants and needs, how to prepare a travel budget and get the most for your money, and how to find unique experiences.

Traveling is such an amazing way to learn more about yourself and expand your personal boundaries no matter what your age is. Traveling can really help someone find themself. Our goal is to enable people to try something new that they might otherwise not have done.

To reserve the June 24th date on my schedule, please call my assistant, Andrea, at 916-691-2029 by June 11th. We look forward to hearing from you.

Your show on June 29 dovetails rather nicely with my book The West Coast Trail: One Step at a Time. It was a midlife journey in a very real, very physical and very spiritual sense. In some ways, it was the antidote to midlife crisis and opened a whole new life to me which included writing my first book. I am now (after many suggestions from friends and family) creating a speaking presence, based on my experience and book.
In my younger working career, I was on local radio and TV frequently but have not done very much in several years. The journey of the West Coast Trail mirrors the journey of life in many ways and inspires everything I do each day and has forever changed my focus, purpose and essential being. There are many stories, some funny, some sad, some inspirational and all poignant and timely in today's busy world.

I would very much like to be a guest on your show and am available via email or phone: home 1-403-225-1762 or cell 1-403-880-8264.

My mission is to educate and inspire individuals to collect, organize and secure their personal information and vital documents. My 24 year old son's death and my near death experience, both happening over 2000 miles away from home, theft of all of my travel documents, ID, credit cards, airline tickets, and the experience of settling loved ones estates, more or less prepared, have created a fire in my belly!.

Why is it that many of us put first things last? Why do we agonize rather than organize that which is the very foundation of our daily living? Why do we put vital documents and information under the bed, in the closet, in a drawer hoping that when they are needed we or our loved will find them before a natural disaster strikes or in the event of our passing? Why do we prefer to despair rather than prepare for something so simple as a visit to the Dr.s office where we are always asked about our medical history, allergies, and prescriptions we are currently taking?

I am available to address these questions and a solution to helping one to organize, almost painlessly, the most important stuff, in one place, for rapid retrieval. Visit www.lifeathand.com. Please contact me at 575-758-1944 or 575-770-2450 to discuss on your June 8th show.

I'm interested in being a guest on any of the following shows: June 15, June 22 and/or June 29
I can create exercises/handouts for the show which could be put up on your site/and or mine. Here are some thoughts about what each session could include:
June 15, 2010: Taking Your Life Back
I’ve always been assertive but it took getting burned out and having health issues that taught me when and how to say “no” and put myself first.
During the session, we can do one or more of the following:
• Discuss the signs of burn out that may help initiate putting yourself first
• Compare/contrast assertiveness vs aggressiveness
• Provide examples and have listeners identify if it shows assertive behavior or aggressive behavior
• Using 3 questions to determine when to say no
• Develop your “no” response.
June 22, 2010: Changing Careers
You could call me the poster child for employment. In the last 34 years, I’ve had 10 roles in 7 different employers and changed fields 5 times. The last change was when I was 44. I switched from the business sector to the education sector. I contributed to and edited the book, Mapping Your Career with a forward by Richard N. Bolles.
During the session, we can do one or more of the following:
• Develop a personal mission statement and conduct a skills inventory which can help identify someone’s dream job.
• Discuss the types of networking (including informational interviewing, professional associations and social media) and how to get the most out of them.
• Provide some do’s and don’ts
June 29, 2010: Living Your Passion
I’ve had a personal mission statement since 1993 and have used it to guide decisions on my life’s journey.
During the session, we can do one or more of the following:
• Develop a personal mission statement that can guide life’s journey.
• Using a mission statement as part of a decision making process to keep your life’s journey on track.
• Analyze your past to identify what to carry forward and what might be missing
• Identify what will keep you centered – finding peace

I will work with you to create a show that is both informative and fun.
